What these pages are, and what they are not.
The reader supplies the figures. A number in a news report is not a club’s regulatory revenue or squad cost. The page applies published rules to those figures. It is not the Premier League’s, UEFA’s, or any club’s calculation. It is not legal, financial, accounting, or regulatory advice, and not a finding about any club, person, accounts, honesty, or sanction.
The result can differ from the Handbook, because the page skips rules it names. Do not rely on it for a filing, a charge, a contract, or a decision to spend. A shared link only restores what was encoded in it.
The Handbook and the UEFA text remain those bodies’ documents. Rule numbers and short quotations are citations, not a copy of the rules. The Handbook cited on the calculator is the public Exhibit 4.14 to Manchester United plc’s Form 20-F for 2026, not a copy supplied by the League.
The Ledger Cup is for learning. It reports published decisions, admissions, and news reporting, each listed under its sources. It is not legal or financial advice, and it makes no finding about any club or person.
The essays are commentary on published decisions, admissions, and filings. They are not those documents, not a finding of their own, and not advice.
The Uneven Field is independent. It is not affiliated with the Premier League, the FA, UEFA, the Independent Football Regulator, or any club. Names of clubs and competitions are used only to identify them. These pages are free. There is no account and no payment. That does not make them advice.
The pages are provided as they are. They are not warranted to be complete, current, or fit for any purpose. Liability for loss from using the illustrations, or from relying on the pages, is excluded so far as the law allows. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot be excluded.
The corrections log records a change: the date, what the page said, what it says, and why. It is an editorial record. It is not a defence.
Write to [email protected] with the page, the words, and the source. Reports are read and answered. If the page changes, the change is logged. If it does not, the reply says why. The message is kept for that report and its log entry, then deleted. The log entry stays. It names the reader only with permission. The address is never published.
The Uneven Field sets no cookie and runs no analytics. Fonts are part of the page, not loaded from a font service. Figures in the calculator stay in the browser and, if you copy a link, in that link.
Pages are hosted by Cloudflare. Cloudflare keeps the ordinary log of a request, which includes an IP address, under Cloudflare’s own policy. That log is not a list kept by The Uneven Field.
